The private security agency is deemed to continue pushing past levels of global involvement, especially with its recently completed expansion in South Korea and Japan.
Thailand, 20th Feb 2024 - ASA Security Services will be announcing in the next few weeks a new head of global operations. The agency has expanded its reach to 80 countries and needs a new chief to spearhead operations in the global arena, making unrivalled private protection solutions even more viable to as many areas as possible.
The agency has surpassed its previously reported 74-country operations. It completed security related tasks in 80 countries, and it expects the number to grow further this year.
“With our continued expansion, we have to increase our operations team so there has been an ongoing recruitment campaign during 2023 and into 2024. The goals of ASA Group for 2024 are to carry on with our global expansion but to maintain the high standard of service that our clients have come to expect,” Graham Storey, The ASA Group’s Director of Business Development, shared.
ASA Security Services recently completed the opening of its new operations capability in South Korea and Japan under the leadership of Jim Sharp, the new director for that region. This is part of the agency’s move to expand its global reach.
“With our new operations finally open in South Korea and Japan, we will be putting in an extra effort to ensure that we get off to a flying start in that region,” Graham Storey promised.
As stated in a previous press release in December 2023, ASA Security Services launched a new hub in South Korea for expansion efforts and a more seamless delivery of services to South Korea and Japan, along with adjacent countries. At that time, the agency reported that it served 74 countries.
ASA Security Services’ most in demand services last year were travel related. The agency provides one of the world’s most comprehensive travel protection services. “From pick up to drop off, we provide the transport - be it private jets, yachts, helicopters or limousines - along with security that keeps our clients safe,” Graham Storey stated.
According to ASA Security Services, aviation services are currently in an expansion mode together with maritime security capabilities. The other areas of growth are likely to come from charter services where the agency can charter both private aircraft and now luxury yachts and boats for clients.
Another most requested service from ASA Security Services in 2023 was security surveys for large corporations like banks and financial institutions. “Many corporations around the world need to test their security and ASA Group is often requested to do the testing as a third party not connected to the company can do the tests on a non-bias basis and produce an accurate report of where improvements need to be made,” Graham Storey explained.
ASA Security Services’ team members are set to attend several security, aviation and maritime events during 2024.
Already this year, the agency has exhibited at the Thailand International Boat Show, which was very well attended. From that event, the agency has built some very positive connections and received a lot of positive feedback from other exhibitors and attendees.
After the Thailand International Boat Show, ASA Security Services will be attending maritime events in Singapore and EBACE for aviation services in Geneva amongst others later in the year.
“ASA Group are still here and has been since 1999 so we would like to thank our regular clients and welcome all our new clients for 2024. We never promise what we cannot deliver, and although we are Asia specialists, we are operating globally so do not hesitate to contact us with any enquiries,” Graham Storey said.
